Bikes and Hikes LA also hosts all kinds of outdoor activities, private VIP tours and corporate events, including team building bike tours, group hike tours, outdoor yoga, ocean activities, team scavenger hunts and other office bonding activities. We operate our LA tours 365 days per year and are open 7 days a week. Located in West Hollywood, our tour company is also home to the LA Bike Shop, where our fleet of LA bike rentals include the top industry standard hybrid, electric, road and mountain bikes. We offer daily, weekly, and monthly bike rentals. Our expert local tour guides are all trained in Los Angeles history, trivia, fun facts, and top recommendations for the best places to eat, visit, and top attractions in LA. All our daily tours are customizable to meet different groups' goals.

How strenuous is the hike? Is there a recommended fitness level?

My 10 and 12 year old did it. It is uphill but not very far, it winds around and the guide gives you time to stop and rest and take pics. It's really not strenuous. Moderate fitness required.

Not strenuous at all. There are two points on the hike where is becomes uphill but is a very short distance(less than .5 miles). That's it and I honestly beleive anyone can do this hike comfortably :) As for the trail it is all dirt. However it's flat and well maintained. Honestly don't miss out on this hike. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my trip to L.A. :)

If you choose to stay longer, then you'll walk yourself back, which is easy to do as the trail is well-travelled.
