A fan of Rockstar who reports leaks finds yet more evidence of the upcoming remaster of Red Dead Redemption that will finally bring the 2012 western to PC.

According to Twitter user TezFunz2, Rockstar accidentally included the metadata for the first Red Dead Redemption game on PC with its new launcher update. Additionally, the game has supposedly shown up on Steam's database, indicating that the PC version will also release on that platform.

Another round of back-end game updates makes it once again appear that the long-awaited PC port of Red Dead Redemption 1 is actually happening. Fans have been through this rodeo before, but enough evidence is starting to pile up to indicate the release might actually be for real this time.

The GTA V update by Rockstar accidentally had three leaked folders. The “Americas” folder is the codename for GTA VI, GTA V Gen9 folder, and a Red Dead Redemption folder. These folders were instantly reverted.

Red Dead Redemption has suddenly appeared on the Steam backend, suggesting that a PC port is finally happening.
