Former President Donald Trump made no mention of North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson during his appearance at a rally in Wilmington on Saturday, but the controversy surrounding CNN’s Thursday bombshell report on Robinson continued to dominate political discussions across the state.

While the Republican nominee for NC governor is not expected in Wilmington Saturday, his campaign said he will be at a meet and greet in Fayetteville.

Trump will be campaigning in Wilmington without Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson following a CNN report about his alleged posts on a pornography website’s message board.
