The third LIV Golf season comes to an end this week at the Team Championship outside of Dallas, Texas. Jon Rahm, the captain of Legion XIII, has withdrawn from the event and his LIV season is over a few days early.

Jon Rahm had a strong 2024 season minus the withdrawal from the US Open in June. The 2023 Masters champion was forced to pull out of the competition due to a foot injury.

Rahm withdrew prior to Legion XIII’s first match against the Phil Mickelson-led HyFlyers because of “severe flu symptoms,” which he had been experiencing for the past few days, according to a LIV statement.

Two-time major winner Jon Rahm withdrew from the LIV Golf Team Championship on Saturday with severe flu symptoms, with American John Catlin replacing the Legion XIII captain in the event.
