A student is facing charges after Hardin Valley Middle School was evacuated for a bomb threat on September 18 according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office.

At 8 a.m., Norman High parents received a message saying law enforcement notified the school of a possible bomb threat. The FBI and Northern Regional Police Department have learned that two threats made against the district originated from Australia.

According to reports, a bomb threat was called into Pine-Richland Friday morning. In a message sent to staff, parents and student, the middle and high schools are both on lockdown and the campus is closed following the threat.
