The Big 12 conference office announced Monday that K-State sophomore running back Dylan Edwards has been named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week.

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Thanks to his 71-yard punt return touchdown to help fuel Kansas State’s 31-7 victory over Arizona, sophomore running back Dylan Edwards has been named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Atticus Sappington earned Oregon’s second straight Big Ten player of the week honor. Sappington, who went 2 for 2 on field goals and 5 for 5 on PATs in Oregon’s 49-14 win over Oregon State, was named the Big Ten special teams player of the week.

The Kansas City product earned the honor after converting all four field goals and one extra point in the Tigers' 27-21 home win over Boston College.
