Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Monday said that an investigation is underway regarding the alleged "unsafe and exploitative work environment" linked to the death of EY employee Anna Sebastian Perayi.

Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya reviewed the performance of the Telangana Zone of Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, and Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner at the Regional Office.

Mansukh Mandaviya said, “Be it a white collar job or any worker, whenever a citizen of the country dies, it is natural to be saddened by it.”
