Hyderabad: A 'Samprokshnam' ritual to cleanse and purify the Tirumala temple is on the cards as concerns were raised from Hindus across the globe after it was found that the cow ghee used to make the sacred Tirupati Laddu prasadam was 'adulterated' with animal fat.

YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy dismissed allegations of ghee adulteration as political diversion, arguing that the claims stem from the previous administration's actions.
